Marina Lindell is a Research Fellow at the Social Science Research Institute at Åbo Akademi University. Her research has mainly focused on citizen deliberation, opinion formation, minorities, political participation and democratic innovations. Her most recent works examine inter-temporal choices and long-term decision-making, and the role of personality in deliberation. She leads the development of an online citizenpanel and is currently focusing on survey research and survey experiments. She is the secretary of the Finnish National Election Study and has been the webmaster for the ECPR Standing Group on Democratic Innovations 2011-2019. She has published in European Journal of Political Research, Scandinavian Political Studies and Politiikka.
