Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Hannah Barrowman works at the Australia Pacific Climate Partnership – a programme funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. She worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Centre for Deliberative Democracy and Global Governance as part of the Australian Research Council-funded project ‘A Metastudy of Democratic Deliberation: Advancing Theory and Practice.
Before moving to Australia, Hannah completed her BSc and MSc in geography and environmental science at the School of Environment, The University of Auckland in New Zealand. She then completed her PhD in climate change adaptation and development at the Fenner School of Environment and Society at The Australian National University in Australia.
Hannah’s research interests include adaptive governance, political ecology, social-ecological systems, environmental and social change and Southeast Asian politics. Hannah also works as a researcher for the Australian Pacific Climate Partnership.
